The main aim of the project is the management of organic extra virgin olive oil produced in Cilento starting from olives of cv Pisciottana, characterized by a late ripening. IPSP will develop a protocol of sustainable control of olive pests and pathogens assessing in the field the reliability of updated and low impact techniques targeting the olive fly. Knowledge transfer will be ensured by the creation of an interdisciplinary center for olive and oil.
